LAKE HARTWELL IS DOWN 13.6 FEET, CLEAR AND 45 DEGREES BY RAPALA PRO STAFFER TIM WHITE

Bass fishing was a little slow last week, as below normal temperatures moved in. Warmer days are in store for this weekend and highs might even reach the 60 degree mark. The Bass Masters Classic will be here in about a month and the pros will be out in force on their practice days looking for the keeper Bass. Peter T. is my favorite pick and you can bet he will be throwing a Number 8 X-Rap Shad in an olive green color. A lot of anglers are still using those Carolina Rigs and Shakey head worms and spot stickers to bag their limits. Deep water cranking after the sun comes up is my pick for catching those larger bass and using those electronics will be a must.
