LAKE LOGAN MARTIN
WAYER TEMP 79
CLAIRTY 1 FOOT
Fishing started off at a rapid pace this morning with 6 solid two pound spots giving it up to a Zoom Super Fluke in Pearl White. That was just in the first 15 minutes as the sun grew brighter the bite slowed leading me to a color change I chose Watermelon which turned up five more solid keepers.
The morning was flying by so in trying to keep pace we switched to a spinner bait and started covering water bites came quick but no help to cull with after one hour and ten fish we decided to move on to some other tactic's.
Shaky Head and a Jackall Flick Shake worm was the go to under the conditions. I felt as if the fish would pull tight to cover with the sun coming out for the first time in two weeks. This was great choice we started catching some small spots in the first trash pile I knew that we only needed to find the right trash to find a better fish . After fishing four piles of trash we hit on the right one and culled two times giving us around 13 pounds for our best five.
Helpful Hints; It is a rare day when one bait works all day be prepared to change with the conditions. thanks from DOUG NICHLES .
