TIM WHITE - Clarks Hill

CLARKS HILL IS DOWN 4.8 FEET, 78 DEGREES AND CLEAR BY TIM WHITE - RAPALA PRO STAFF

Bass fishing is still pretty good, as it took 15.5 pounds to win the Tommy Shaw Memorial Tournament last Saturday, according to Tom Hall. Thirteenth place weighted in at 11 pounds, so it was a tight race to the top. Tom is reporting the top water bite declined some and this will happen as the water temperatures rise. Some of the bigger Bass are being caught on the smaller size crank baits like DT6's in the Shad pattern and DT4's in the Baby Bass color. Carolina Rigs are still working on the main lake points while the submerged humps up in the rivers are beginning to turn on. The full moon will occur on June 7th and this should help those fishing this weekend, especially those fishing the night tournaments.

Good line sides are being caught on the Southern end of the lake near the dam. Live baits along with the four and five inch Wildeye Swim Shad on a single line or an umbrella rig will work.
