Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Headed out this morning with a buddy hitting the lower end of the lake. We moved around alot but found fish on every stop. Fish are eating swimbaits like they should be in May and June. He wanted to learn more on the types of baits and places to use them so that is all we fished with. We fished grass lines from 2-8 feet of water catching fish from solid keepers to a couple of bigger fish. Not as bad a day as I would have thought it would be just fishing one bait for the time we were out there. We fished Jackall Swimming Ninja's, Lake Fork Live Magic Shads, Jackall Stride's and Mikey Jr.

Rodney also got out today reporting a great day on the water for both Crappie and Bass. He told me he is catching some of the biggest crappie he has ever caught on the lake in years. with great numbers over the 2 lb. mark. As far as the Bass he is fishing way up river on long break lines finding fish getting ready to move. Best baits for him have been small jigs(for the crappie) and Lipless Cranks for the Bass.
