Bass fishing was very good today at Logan Martin, we fished from about 6am till Noon and caught fish most all morning using shallow crank baits ( lucky craft cb-100 and Bandit 200 series) All fish we caught were along the main channel cuts and creek enterances. We had several swirles at topwater early, but no hook-ups. However the crank bait bite was excellent. We had some good numbers of keeper spots, the largest was taken mid lake on the bandit 200 series and weighed 4.6 lbs. I would expect the topwater bite to turn on with a little cooler weather. We tried carolina rigs and jigs off rocks. Landed 2 nice keepers using 1/2 oz blue/blk jig with black pork rind, both largemouth. The carolina rig bite was slow. Logan Martin should produce some nice catches this comming weekend. Thanks and keep em livin Larry Rosser
