Monday 10-21-02 Conditions:: am temp 68, cloud cover,calm winds. Water Level:: falling, down apx 1 ft today, see my site www.alabamalakes.net for current "Lake Levels" Water Temps::71-74 ( up somewhat from last week) Fishing was slow today, We at first thought differently as we had 3 good spots using a Sammy 115 early. This shut down quickly. We fished several areas of shallow water, these areas held plenty of shad, but the fish were just not feeding. Landed 4 more spots on a shallow crank bait. Tried pulling out somewhat and using Carolina rig, some smaller fish, but nothing over about 14 inches, noticed several fish following crank baits to the boat. But, my ole buddy Duddley and I had a good time in spite of the bite, anyway when I go fishing if I catch anything, it's always extra. !! Thanks Larry Rosser
