The fishing is still tough on Logan but has improved in the past week on main river points. The crankbait has produced the majority of the fish caught this week. Finding schools of shad and crankin through em has been good downriver. Beyond I-20 the jig has been king. Look for grass lines and swim a jig through them for good largemouth bites. In the mid section of the river the grass has also has produced well on plastic. Baby Brush Hogs flipped in the grass will put fish in the boat right now. The topwater bite has been around for about thirty minuites in the morning on a buzzbait around rock walls, but is short lived. The carolina rig will catch a fish right now with a small lizard on main river drops. The shaker head remains a big producer wigh an eight inch needle in June Bug or Red Bug. The night bite has been good one night, awful the next, but overall very good on a spinnerbait in water 10 ft. deep.
