Tuesday 6-15: Conditions, Light rain most of the morning with cooler temps, winds SW @ 5 mph. Water level is down about a foot ( see my site www.alabamalakes.com for exact daily water levels) Water has a very heavy stain and coming close to muddy in some creeks. I fished with Chris Shipman of Cullman today. We started first light in the grass, but with the water being down for a while we did not have a lot of success in the grass. Around 8AM we went for the piers with a Finesse Glimmer Jig ( Grape Juice) Larger fish pitching around piers than on drops/points ect. I managed a few keepers with the Spotsticker using a NetBait Finesse Worm ( Key Lime Pie) We tried other structure during the day with some luck, but largest fish came from the piers with the Finesse jig.
