Accompanied a very good fishing buddy today on a short trip to Lake Jordan. Started fishing about 5am and fished till weather ran us out at 11am. Fished top water with quarter-ounce buzzbait in white. Landed two very nice spots just off of the weeds. Switched to spinnerbaits and finesse worms about 7am. Managed to land a couple more good spots and one LM on these baits. Plum colored plastics and white spinnerbait did the trick. Wind picked up and storms seemed imminent, so headed to the house. Best five would have weighed around 10 lbs. Not a lot of bites, but quality on the catches. God Bless and Catch and Release!!
