We had Big Ed for the last two days, and the snapper bite was ON FIRE! Both days we had our limit of snapper, as well as some AJs, grouper, triggers, and beeliners. With live bait hard to come by, we are having to catch what we can offshore.

The snapper have been larger the last two days, with several over 20 lbs. and plenty over 10. We had a borderline cobia to the boat today, but lost him trying to bring him thru the door without gaffing him.

The water has cleared up in shore, and it looks like Mother Nature is going to finally give us a break.

Looking forward to getting on offshore to check out the tuna bite on Thursday. We haven't been tuna fishing since we've been back from Venice.
