SALTWATER AUG. 2005
Offshore Report Destin to Pensacola, FL & Orange Beach, AL.
Week report 8/15 - 8/22
The offshore bite has been good, but finding a keeper fish has been tough. Most of the bigger fish have moved way offshore 20+ miles out to cooler water. They should start to move back in closer this Oct. The Red Snapper bite has been pretty good the past few days. Grouper are being caught out near the Timber Holes. Amberjacks are being spotted near the Tenico Rig and the Advoicet. Some Keeper Snapper have been reported off the Paradise Hole. Reports of some weed-lines out past 10 miles, some chicken dolphin and some big bulls have been seen on these weed-lines. Out near the edge they have seen some Black Fin Tuna, and some big Kings.
