Got out today after no sleep with some of the best guys to fish with. We had a little Choo-Choo tournament between the four of us. I had Ed in my boat and I can say he is to bass fishing what Yoda is to Star Wars.LOL anyway we decided to make a little wager on the big fish brought in by lunch and went fishing. We got out of Goose Pond and ran down river to the ledge area throwing top water. I had one at 3+ within several cast on the buzz frog in about 8 feet of water. I let it go saying we could do better than that for weight. We then moved to the backs of creeks and I put another fish on the "Choo-Choo Train" and boated him guessing around the same weight. we put it in the livewell just in case. We had several other fish hit but never got a hook in them. The fish were still in that mood they have been in the last week. I even tossed the old "yum dinnger". The fish we boated was good enough for free lunch at Goose Pond courtesy of our good friends Cory and Tom. Thanks guys!LOL mabey if you brought back one of those fish we would have been buying.hehe. Anyway it was a good day on the water and we found some new fish to try to stick this coming week on my trips. I still have 2 1/2 days open this coming week if interested.
