Neal and I fished out of Lakeside yesterday from 1:30 to 3:30. It was a great day to be on lake. We didn't have any takers on the jig, so I broke out my brand new secret weapon and found this hungry girl in a foot of water. She ran about 20 feet along the bank and then turned towards the boat to get in some deeper water. I cranked as fast as I could to catch up and then she really dug in! After a great fight, Neal swept her up with the net and got her in the boat. I'll put it to you this way. . . I'm lucky to have a picture of this fish- two of the treble hooks were straightened out. She rolled in right at 5 lbs. Believe it's time to invest in some better treble hooks.

All fish were released to fight another day.
