Talked to several fishermen who went to Martin this week and heard pretty good reports. The spots are eating it up all over the lake looking to spawn. You can catch all the fish you want on shallow banks with a Pointer 78 in Ghost Minnow and Chartruese Shad. The spinnerbait bite is also on right now with a Davis X-Wire Glimmer Shad 3/8oz. blade. Throw it near rockpiles for good spots. Finesse worms in Grasshopper and Summer Craw also produced well on Martin. Jig fishermen are also reporting good catches on 3/8oz. brown Franklin jigs. The water temp has reached the upper 50's and has some color in the creeks.
