GUNTERSVILLE APRIL 2006

This report is for thur, fri and sat. Sorry for it being late but I have been very busy the last few days. Thur and fri were both slow days with thur being tougher only boating 5 fish with the biggest weighing 3 3/4. Fish came on yum dingers and chatterbaits on humps in 2 ft of water.

Fri was still tough and boated 6 fish biggest weighing 4 1/4. Fish came on chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, and yum dingers in 3 ft in the backs of pockets. Also caught a stripe and though it was a huge bass. Hooked it at the boat on a spinnerbait in 3 ft. All I saw was the flash and then a huge surge. I was disaapointed when I saw what it was.

Sat. had a small club tourny and we ended up catching 12 fish best 5 weighing 12 lbs. Couldn't get any size to any of them. We ended up 4th. All fish came on yum dingers and rattletraps(the old color selector ones) in 2 ft. My partner lost a huge fish near the boat on a trap in the first 20 minutes. He learned about factory hooks and needing to change the hooks out. The last couple days of warm weather should really have the fish going shallow. Alex Davis
