LOGAN MARTIN APRIL 2006

It's April and it's Saturday, so that means I'm on the water with my son. Today it was Logan Martin. We launch out of Town and Country and fished the area from Cropwell to Steamly Bridge.

The top water bite I had hoped for when I rolled out of bed at 4:15 AM did not materialize so we adjusted and managed 22 very nice Spots before we finally gave in to the wind and play boats. We fished spinner baits, crank baits and worms. Fish were caught in 3-9 feet of water, no monsters today but pleanty of 2 1/2 to 3 1/4 LB fish.

I love catching Coosa River Spots!
