SALTWATER may 2006

DORADO Dauphin Island, AL USA

It is always nice when the weatherman is wrong in our favor. At the first of the week the forcast was calling for 6 foot seas today and we lucked out with 1-2.

Todd Rushing and his group went on their first trip on the DORADO. The day started a bit slow with barley legal snapper on the first couple of spots. The pace picked up when we boated our limit of ajs for the day in 15 minutes. Ater putting the ajs in the box we managed to find a couple of cobia hanging out around a platform and boated one of the two, that went 24lbs. We finished out our limit of snapper with a few nice fish over 10lbs. The triggers and beeliners bit better than they have since the season started. Todd and his crew managed to bring 453lbs of fish to the dock at the end of the day.

We will be back in action tomorrow.

Give us a call.
