SMITH LAKE JUNE 2006

Went out from the dam at 6 a.m. Caught 19 total, mostly spots. Our best five went around 13lbs. Biggest fish (largemouth) went just over 5lbs. Had 10 overs, 6 slots, and 3 unders. Best day we've had on Smith in a long time. Most fish came on a chug bug, but the biggest largemouth on a sweet beaver. My friend, Billy Jukes, fell in while trying to net one of the fish. He lost his car keys and cell phone, but more importantly, he lost the fish. Smith Lake 1, Billy Jukes 0.
