LAY LAKE JUNE 2006 - Lay

LAY LAKE JUNE 2006

I fished Lay this morning under sunny sky's with a little breeze on occasion in the late morning hours. Sometime's it is good to just go by yourself and just listen to peace and quiet with faint sounds of a boat running in the distance which is what I wanted today . I started on points then to a hump and later a favorite river ledge fishing the Spotsticker 3/16 oz with SS magic and Key Lime Pie hand poured worm . The fish early seem to be in 5 to 7 feet of water and late morning in 14 to 17 feet around stumps . I did not catch any real good fish but had 25 or so keeper spots and largemouth on the spinning tackle . I have fished a new line for a few trips at the request of Marks Outdoors . I fished the Berkley Vanish fluorocarbon and found it to cast great , limpness was good as was the sensitivity. The line overall worked very well with the type fishing I use most of the time . Good Fishing and God Bless !
