GUNTERSVILLE JUNE 2006

The first half of the week has had some good times and not so good, Monday and Tuesday we had some cloud cover and the fish bite real well. On Tuesday we caught a 7lb. 5lb. Several 4 & 3’s, had a best of 5 stringer of over 23 lbs. Monday we didn’t have many big fish but we caught several maybe 12 to 15 in numbers. Wednesday rolled around and it was a bright blue-sky day, fishing was again tough. You could tell summer was here we managed only 7 fish with the biggest about 4 lbs. Both Tuesday and Wednesday were real fun as both days I had a lady in the boat and both days they out fished the men. They were real proud of their bass fishing success, and all were fun to be with.
All fish this week were caught in the mid part of the lake, Monday & Tuesday we caught them mainly on a big worm, and Wednesday some were caught on a Punisher “Flame” Spinner bait.
I have open dates Friday and this weekend is still available. I again am starting to take request to teach techniques this summer. So if you are interested in learning to bass fish please call for scheduling and details. I teach everything from using bait cast reels to reading depth finders.
