Well got out this morning for a halfday trip with a return client from Tenn. We started the day on top water with a couple of keepers on the edge of grass lines on the lower end of the river. We then worked on a jig bite and after 2 hours of pitching I thought all was lost, then BAM he had one almost take the rod. Solid 4 lber. He then caught 6 more on the same area. The bite died and we moved on but that was it for the day. Had a good trip and the jig saved the day as the heat got up but it was a true test of patience. The lures for the day were the Jackall "Mikey" in shad color and Choo-Choo titan jig in Bluegill with a netbait Green pumpkin paca chunk trialer. Hope to see you on the water.
God Bless
