Fishing Report, Lake Guntersville 2/10/07

After 3 cold days on the water this week and just a few bites each day, I thought I would enjoy the nice comfortable warm couch for a couple of days.

We managed just a few fish a day this week some big fish and some nice keeper size with the biggest fish coming on Thursday of this week weighing in at about 6 lbs. and had to work hard for those few bites. The cold air and wind has definitely scattered the bite and made 8 hours on the water a long day on Friday.

Friday I fished with a local gentleman who was preparing for a tournament, we had a lot of fun talking and fellowshipping for 8 hours but unfortunately we only put 2 keeper fish in the boat, it may have been the coldest day on the lake I can remember. The man I fished with has put himself into business and developed a self made career, I really admire someone that has the perseverance to do so.

Better days are coming the fish will turn back on very quickly with just a little temperature change; the extreme cold doesn’t last much longer around here. I have some open days left in the month of February and several for March. Call for details! I look forward to fishing with you!
