GUNTERSVILLE MAY 2007 - Guntersville

GUNTERSVILLE MAY 2007

Date Fished: 5/22/2007
Water Temperature: 78
Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater

Got out on Tuesday afternoon as a part of a corp. trip out of Waterfront. I had 2 clients that had never bass fished from New Mexico. We started the trip on the ledges tossing Davis X-Wire spinnerbaits (white) with a couple of non-keepers to show for it. We then moved to open water humps while they threw the new Netbait 10" ribbon tail worm I was cranking a Jackall swimbait. I had two on the swimbait and they both boated 2 on the worm but, nothing over 3.5 lbs. I did have one fish right at 4.5 on the last stop. All in all we had a good time and they both learned how to use a baitcaster. I will be on the water with another halfday trip this afternoon and have Friday open this week if anyone is interested in a last min trip. I also have a couple of days still open in June and July. The heat is here to stay so remember to have alot of drinking water on the boat. Oh, I still have the Skeeter up for sell and an update Yamaha is putting a brand new series 2 HPDI on it before it is sold so it will have no hours on it for the new owner. See you on the water.

God Bless
